In my interactive Birds & Stars presentation, I'll share a bit about my writing journey, engage students in bird and moon-related activities, and show how interests and hobbies can be great springboards for story ideas.

Also, in celebration of The Star of Moon Village being selected for the NEA's Read Across America, I'll discuss the story's themes and give students the opportunity to create their own ideal moon village!
